I have to carry out a Local Seismic Response study and am unable, after numerous attempts, to export accelerograms with the Rexel software. I have seen that some online portals provide the possibility of exporting accelerograms but only for a period. I then verified that there is the INGV portal (REXELWEB) from which it is possible to export accelerograms. The problem is that in the latter case I am able, for the site I am interested in, to export the accelerograms, but the doubt is related to the conversion factor of the RSLIII programme: I have guessed that it must be 0.01 instead of 100 which is the default when the ‘single step accelerogram column’ tick is selected? Could you give me some indication of this, since I can find no indication from what I have downloaded from RexelWeb?

The conversion factor depends solely on the unit of measurement in which the acceleration data is reported and the unit of measurement in which you have chosen to work with RSL III software (in g or in m/s2). If, for example, you have chosen to work in [g] and the accelerogram is in [m/s2] then the conversion factor is 1/9.81=0.1019. If, on the other hand, [m/s2] is chosen as the unit and the imported accelerogram is in [cm/s2], then the conversion factor is 0.01.
