The program calculates two thrusts: one in which it considers the upstream face of the wall as the thrust plane, in this case it always considers the ground-wall friction angle. The other, used for global verifies, which has as its thrust plan the ideal one that passes through the upstream extrados of the foundation; in the latter case, the program considers the ground-wall friction angle only if the “always use the wall-ground friction angle” option is checked from the Stratigraphy window.
