It is necessary to download and install the following Windows updates from the official Miscrosoft page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=26999
Download only the vcredist_x86.exe and vcredist_x64.exe file and start the installation in the following sequence before vcredist_x86.exe followed by vcredist_x64.exe.
If you have current versions of Microsoft C++ Redistributable installed it is necessary to uninstall it before installing the version indicated above.
Go to Windows settings:
Apps > Apps & features
And type +in the search bar “c++” and uninstall the recent versions, then reinstall to have the 2010 version installed
