I need some clarification regarding the calculation of the reaction modulus Ks, by default the programme uses Bowles’ method, can I have more details?

A distinction must be made between the case where Ks is constant with depth and the case where it is variable.In the former case: Ks=qa/unit subsidence where qa=qult/FS qult=limiting load FS=safety factor (2 or 3 depending on the lithology) In the second instead: Ks=40*(c*Nc+0.5*gamma*B*Ngamma)+40*(gamma*Nq*Z) Nc, Ngamma, Nq e.g. Hansen’s coefficients.

From the value of the active thrust coefficient provided by the programme, it appears that the slope of the upstream terrain is not taken into account

I have defined a new section in the section archive, when saving the programme gives me an assignment error.

Check the name of the section, by default the programme assigns ‘-’, hyphens should be replaced with a name to be given to the section

I noticed that the internal stress values are different when comparing the stress diagrams with those available on the structural analysis results window. Why?

Those shown on the structural results window refer to the individual pole, the stresses depicted on the diagrams refer to linear metres of work
